NAPA Speedway Partners with McKernan Sports & Entertainment

McKernan Sports and Entertainment, has entered into an operations contract with NAPA Speedway in which they will operate concessions and merchandising. McKernan Sports and Entertainment will work closely with NAPA Speedway to provide high quality, fan friendly racing at the track all season long. Examples of new things that McKernan Sports and Entertainment will implement at the speedway this season include a midway, new food vendors, souvenirs, promotions and a kid’s zone.

“McKernan Sports & Entertainment is excited to partner with NAPA Speedway to create a innovative fan experience,” said Michael McKernan, President of McKernan Sports & Entertainment. “The support and encouragement that Jim Guthrie has given us has been wonderful and we look forward to this race season.”

This change is just one of many to the track this season. Guthrie takes over as the speedway’s president and NAPA comes on board as a sponsor for the next five years, giving the speedway its new name. NAPA Speedway includes dirt and paved ovals, a paved road course, a motorcycle flat track, a motocross course and a radio-controlled track. The facility is located on Albuquerque’s West Side atop Nine-Mile Hill.
